| Bio : | Detroit area rapper and C.E.O of Ydot ENT, Yung Khan continues an unrelenting march towards Hip/Hop world domination. At 6’5” his towering presence is surpassed only by his lyrical prowess and smooth vocals. The son of a former singer (mother) and producer (father), Y.K (Y dot K) was surrounded by music at an early age. Surprisingly, he did not start seriously recording until age 19. After suffering through several disappointing college basketball campaigns, he rediscovered his love of music and invested in his own studio to build his craft. 2009 marked a prolific assault on the music world with the release of 3 mixtapes and over 100 recordings. His first mixtape entitled “2012” marked the debut of a raw but talented artist. His second mixtape entitled “Mortal Khanbat” unveiled a fresh newly refined style and unique character. The success of “Mortal Khanbat” spread rapidly across social networking sites like Facebook/MySpace and produced more than 5000 downloads on Datpiff. "Proze & Khan" released October 31, was definitely no trick as Khan treated fans with exceptional original tracks such as "Number 2" and "Drop It 2 the Floor". "I-KHAN" is the latest release. Singles "My Attitude" and "Let's Go" are receiving tremendous fan support worldwide. Yung Khan is currently performing at local Detroit area venues and producing tracks for his next mixtape “Mortal Khanbat Annihilation" set to be released September 2010. | |
