You don’t have to be a musician to have a fruitful career in the music industry. While the appeal and rush of playing for thousands of people is exhilarating for many, others may choose a more low-key, behind-the-scenes route to make a name for themselves in the music industry.
Music management is a popular track for those wanting to get involved in the industry. Such jobs may include artist management, concert promotion, booking and entertainment law. If record labels are more your speed, you may choose a career in A&R, publicity, research, sales or artist relations. Some choose the road as opposed to an office, where they find careers as a sound technician, tour coordinator or road manager.
If you love music (and who doesn’t), you may want to look into starting a career in the music industry. There are lots of resources available on the Internet to put you on the right track.
