| Bio : | Singer/songwriter Hannah Thomas is already making a name for herself in country music. With a totally original sound she was tagged "sophisticated country with an additude" this girl is catching the eyes and ears of music fans and industry professionals everywhere. Early 2006 she started her career at an open mic at the famous songwriter venue Eddie's Attic as well as becoming BMI writer in August of the same year, she has accomplished more than some do in great amounts of time in their careers. 2007 especially proved to be a tremendous start. She won the Atlanta Opry Talent Showcase Receiving a nomination for: 2007 Top Teen Country Artist in Georgia by: www.atlantacountrymusic.com Won (1st Place) in the Atlanta Region Colgate Country Showdown. Appeared on Fox 5's Good Day Atlanta Morning Show Was featured live on WMOQ Real Country 92.3 FM. And has opened for major artists (Craig Morgan and Mother's Finest) on two separate occasions. Shared a stage with Jason Michael Carroll, Lee Brice, and Cole Deggs and the band Lonesome, played events that were headlined by such names as Gretchen Wilson, Eric Church, Trace Adkins, Sugarland and John Anderson, plus an extended list of other impressive feats. In 2008, She worked on her promising debut independent release studio project entitled: " The Rest Is Yet To Come" and released it in spring 2009. 2009 became a year to beat. After her album debut she selected an allstar lineup of talent in organizing her own band and promoting her album. And the awards came flooding in! Atlanta Based Country Station 94.9 The Bull showcased (4) of her songs for over 11 weeks in a row on there Saturday Nights (Backyard Country Series) Those Songs - Anywhere But Here, DirtRoads And Freedom, Tonight, Caught Up have made a name for herself.
