| Bio : | Shortcuts To Fame is a heavy, melodic mix of Rock, Metal, and Punk exploding out of Northern California's Bay Area. The band has been compared to greats like Metallica, Rage Against The Machine, Avenged Sevenfold, System of a Down, and The Offspring. Shortcuts To Fame was formed in early 2009 by guitarists Mr. Pink (Lead Guitar) and Nick Nickly (Rythym Guitar) with plans of world domination in mind. After two months of searching they met up with brothers Ben Rippy (Bass) and Dirty-E (Drums), formerly of The War Against Terror, and soon were playing shows all across California and Oregon. Shortcuts To Fame also performs as Subliminal Tha Kid's live band. In the past 7 months Shortcuts To Fame has accumulated over 60 shows, opened for Bone Thugz N Harmony and Andre Nickatina, and went on a 7 city tour with Bay Area legend Smoov-E. The position of Lead Singer has been given to Juice, formerly of Our Found Chaos, and now that the band is complete fans can be expecting a Full Length Shortcuts To Fame debut early 2010. Shortcuts To Fame is self-produced, self-managed, and members are seeking degrees in Music Industry Studies and Audio Engineering at Diablo Valley College in Pleasant Hill, Ca. | |
