| Bio : | Sherry began her musical career early. At the age of 17, she cruised across the country to Seattle to form an all-woman rock band called, Hijinx. The band was noted as one of Seattle's favorites in the nightclub scene between the years of 1983 and 1986. When the group disbanded in 1986, she moved on to the Las Vegas scene, and played with many Top 40 bands, and backed up solo artists in classic hotel lounges, such as The Golden Nugget and The Flamingo Hilton. Sherry returned to the Marietta, GA area to record an album with Rache Alpert, at which time the duo embarked on a tour opening for the Indigo Girls the summer of 1992. Between then and now, she has performed with numerous groups and artists including Ronnda Cadle & the String Poets from Atlanta, GA, and Lo Down Brown from Aiken, SC. Currently, she is working in her home studio on her first album entitled, "Owe Spirit", in which she plays all instruments and performs all vocals. | |
